Beginner's Guide to Latte Art
Turn your morning coffee into a masterpiece.
1. Milk Texture is Everything
You're looking for "wet paint" texture. No big bubbles, just a smooth, silky microfoam. Purge your steam wand before and after use.
2. The Basic Heart
Start high to pierce the crema, then bring the pitcher low and center once the cup is half full. Shake slightly to create the bulb, then lift and strike through to finish the heart.
Patience is Key
Don't get discouraged if your first few look like blobs. Even pros started with blobs. Keep practicing your milk texturing first.
